Pale gold in colour with aromas of orange blossom and custard apples, laced with clove-like woodspice. The palate is temptingly soft whilst retaining firm structure. The underlying oak flavours are subtle, supporting the palate rather than dominating it. A long tapered finish punctuates this well-balanced wine.

Sommelier's Advice: The fuller, richer styles of Chardonnay tend to go very well with simply Roast Chicken, Grill Pork and as well with rich sea food lobster, Scallops and all fish with a creamy sauce.

This fruity wine with its delicate, floral and silex fragrance possesses excellent balance, invigorating freshness and delightful persistence. The explosive bouquet in this bottle is characteristic of a mature Sauvignon Blanc.

Sommelier's Advice: Serve this wine with grilled or baked fish, seafood, Goat Cheese or exotic dishes with tropical fruit but the must is with smoked salmon.

The 2007 “LZ” is a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Graciano from the Alavesa region of Rioja. It was fermented and aged for 4-6 months in cement and stainless steel. Asian spices, violets, blackberry, and mineral notes inform the expressive bouquet. It opens in the glass to reveal savory, smooth, ripe, layered fruit and a pleasure-bent personality.

Sommelier's Advice: A perfect wine to drink with fish served with a spicy sauce, duck, cooked pork meat, Grilled beef or Roast Chicken.

This wine, an attractive, vivid red with cherry highlights, has a rich, complete nose of blackcurrant enfolded in more complex notes of biscuit, caramel and fruit preserves. Smooth on the attack, it develops a substantial, well-structured palate with dense but well-rounded tannins and attractive blackberry and morello cherry fruit, building to a harmonious finish, long and expressive, that leaves an impression of fullness and power.

Sommelier's Advice: This wine has oceanic accents due to the vineyard's proximity to the ocean. Despite its robustness and smoothness it is a perfect companion to grilled salt water fish and roasted poultry as long as it is served slightly fresh, chilled to about 16 — 18 degrees in the Tropics

A true ‘Second vin’ of Ornellaia.
Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia 2009 displays above all else the superb ripe fruit characteristic of the vintage. Its colour is intense and offers a nose rich with ripe dark berryfruit and fruit preserves, enlivened with a delicate vein of spice. On the palate, full and well-rounded with notably refined, silky tannins. A seductive acidity keeps all the components in balance, prolonging a finish that has an appealing freshness.

Sommelier's Advice: Tender and voluptuous this wine will be perfect with meats served with a rich sauce,grilled beef with fresh pasta and truffle.

This blend of half Grenache with Carignan and Syrah, cuvee. Smoky black tea and crushed stone suggest what I take to be a typically schistic tenor, complimenting juicy, seamlessly sweet purple plum and blackberry on a palate of impressive purity and mid-palate richness. Nutmeg, cardamom, iodine, and iron filings.

Sommelier's Advice: Wine made with Syrah grapes, is best appreciated with spicy dishes complemented by tomatoes, fish with a red wine sauce all cheese and dessert with chocolat and figs.
