Mom Tri’s Boathouse 20 Years!
Photo contest until 15 March 2009

On occasion of the 20th anniversary of Mom Tri’s Boathouse on 9 February 2009, we will host an on-line photo exhibition on our website with photos of the Boathouse, Kata Beach and Phuket taken over the past 20 years.

Professional photographers, Boathouse Guests and staff, Phuket residents and visitors to Phuket are all welcome to enter their favourite shots in this exhibition. Mid March three outstanding photos will be chosen. The winner will receive an Escape Week Package for two Guests and runner up will receive a Getaway Package for two.

Photos can be uploaded in the categories: Guests, Beach, Party, Miscellaneous and Staff. As many of our current staff has been working at the Boathouse since or even before the official opening back in February1989, we think they deserve a special tribute!

First selection will be made by the Boathouse before appearing on-line.

Printed photos can be scanned and uploaded.

How to upload photos on the Boathouse website

Go to www.boathousephuket.com/photocontest

Click on ‘register’

Click on ‘I agree’ below the standard Terms and Conditions message

Fill in ‘Input registration’ information

Click ‘submit registration’

You will get the message:
“Your account is now active and you can login with your username and password”

Click ‘continue’

Click ‘Login’ and enter your name and password

Click ‘upload file’ and browse to select your photo file to upload (size max 3 MB)

Click ‘continue’
After the message “uploads were successful” appears click ‘continue’

Your photo will appear and you can select the album you want to add it to (Guest, beach, staff, party or miscellaneous)

Fill in the boxes with title (add the year the photo was taken), description and keywords (optional)

The message “Your file was uploaded successfully. It will be visible after admin approval” appears
 

To view albums

Login with your name and password

Click on photo to view bigger size

You can rate photos but only one time per photo.

Be careful: there are 5 sets of rating balls each at the bottom. Clicking on the set on the left gives a “poor” rating. If you like a photo, click on the set of balls all the way on the right hand side only.

Photos can be send as e-card with message. Click on ‘E’ (e-card) icon on top right and fill in the e-mail address and message you’d like to send the photo to.
