Jake Needham conducted two writing workshops for over 100 students at Phuket International Schools, QSI and BCSI on 11 and 12 March. The rapt student audience was awed by this encounter with a real 'live' writer and the enthusiasm of the well-known author and screen-writer rubbed off on many of them. Bronner, celebrated her 100th birthday this 15 October surrounded by family and numerous friends and admirers from all over the world flying in especially for the occasion. Mr. Patrick Hemery, coming from Europe and on his way to the US stopped in Phuket just long enough to join Madame Bronner's party and to celebrate his own 60th birthday 16 October!.
