Boathouse wins Wine Spectator Award
Georges Ciret, Wine Director of Boathouse said: “We are proud and delighted with these awards. More than 20 years ago Boathouse created Phuket’s first wine cellar and today we list over 800 wines, including a Romanée-Conti Grand Cru ’91 and Château Latour ‘82.”
“A broad price range allows our guests to select a bottle of wine suited to their liking and the occasion. Prestigious labels and beautiful vintages enhance luxurious and festive events.”
Marie-Laure Fleury, appointed the new General Manager of Boathouse, added: “We are extremely honoured to win these Wine Spectator awards again. Together with my team we will strive even harder to bring the reputed standard of Boathouse to the next level.”
Following extensive renovations, including a new, extended wine cellar, the stunningly redesigned and revamped Boathouse will reopen on 1st October 2011.
Other exciting new additions to the property include the rooftop Sunset Lounge, a new beach club and a spa opening in November as well as a large boutique with a gourmet café.
